The AceBeam has forward clickie and a lovely tint, and it is cheaper than the Nitecore. The AceBeam is slightly longer. I have both of them, and I use the AceBeam...

Also agree that it does not have a lot of throw compared to SFT or Nitecore MT2A pro, but it has really nice constant spill which is great for EDC or camping!

I am waiting for the SFT in black ;) Dont like that they reserved SFT for blue only.

I have the 27. And the 25. The 25 My favorite so far. Bought the 29 yesterday and I'm returning it. Loved everything about it feature wise. But I don't know if it's just me or what? but the beam pattern on the 29 just seems way too concentrated in one small area compared to the 25 which seems like it has a much wider beam spread. Especially when I compared the two lights at night outside. I don't know why but it just seems like it's way too narrow way too concentrated of a hotspot. Seems like it would only be good for long distance for the most part. Damn I'm disappointed I really wanted to Love this light. Love the design of the body love the lockout. But damn that beam pattern/design completely turned me off. I'll stick with my 25

Debating between both of these, the tac 2aa only pumps out 1400lm for 1 minute before it drops to 500lm according to the specs whereas the mt2a seems to go from 1000lm down to 500lm over 10 minutes according to the 1lumen graph. Does that make sense?

I got the sft25r version. It has a similar beam profile to the Nitecore. Very tight hotspot with a little usable spill. My sample has a slightly off center emitter which causes a few artifacts. No worries though with a $25 edc light. You can only tell while white wall hunting. Otherwise in normal use it’s an awesome little thrower. The blue is actually very nice with a slight metallic tint, but I wish it was just plain ol black also.
